W. A. Werning
W. A. Werning is an ICC-certified electrical inspector and is a certified electrical instructor through the National Center of Construction Education and Research and through the Texas State Board for Educator Certification. Currently, he teaches the Electrical Code Examination and Review for master and journeyman electricians at Eastfield College in Mesquite, Texas. Formerly, he was an authorized construction outreach trainer for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). He has been a dedicated electrician since 1961, working as licensed residential wireman, journeyman and master electrician. He was an electrical contractor from 1979 through 1995, and formerly was the electrical inspector for Forney and Rockwall, Texas.
