Michael J. Farrell III
Michael J. Farrell III is currently employed by Lucas County, Ohio, as an Electrical and Building Inspector and serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Ohio Chapter Northwest Division He is licensed as a journeyman electrician and contractor by the States of Ohio and Michigan and is OBBS-certified as an Electrical Inspector (ESI), Building Inspector, Electrical Plans Examiner, and Building Official. He also is IAEI-certified as an Electrical Inspector 1&2 Family, Electrical General, Electrical Plans Examiner, and by ICC as a Residential and Commercial Electrical and Building Inspector, Electrical Plans Examiner and Building Official. Mike is a graduate of the University of Toledo with an Associate in Electrical Engineering Technology (1976), the University of Tennessee/ Knoxville (NTI) Professional Educator Program (2001), and a 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship Program IBEW/JATC (1981). Mike also attended the State of Ohio Board of Building Standards Code Academy in 2005 and 2009. Mike sits on Code Panel 3 for the NEC (NFPA 70), and is a technical committee member of NFPA 790/791 for Electrical Equipment Evaluation.
