As you may or may not be aware, the West Virginia Legislature passed specific legislation this past year in an attempt to reduce the electrical hazards associated with marinas. Specifically it requires all public accessible docks and marinas to be in compliance with the NEC and further mandates that a certified electrical inspector approve said facilities and all electrical work associated. This new law is effective December 31, 2014.
